Bling Kong Set to Rampage Cleveland!!!

Guard your grillz, NYC uber-band Bling Kong (www.blingkong.com) has just booked their first ever Cleveland tour date! They'll be playing October 20th at the Church in Tremont. I just checked the venue out for the first time last night and it should prove to be a perfect chance to get cozy with the band's 4 cheerleaders, 3 drummers, or any other band members for that matter, depending on who you fancy more (personally, I like the drummers). They'll be playing at the Wexner Center in Columbus the next night, so be thankful that we'll get them in such an intimate setting!

They're next visit to the Forest City won't likely be until springtime and will surely be at a much bigger venue, so don't miss this one!

Last Week & Tomorrow

Hello all you listeners!

My apologies for not posting last week. If you were listening, you may have heard that the internet is down at WCSB headquarters. This may not have been remedied to date, so there may be no live-blogging tomorrow either! Regardless, I plan on posting the set list in the coming days, as I've written everything down in a font that is legible to only yours truly.

Tomorrow also marks the beginning of Retro Week, which is part of the 30th Anniversary celebration for our dear station. I'm relatively new to the airwaves, yes, but I've been listening to the station since the early 90s (when I'm pretty sure no DJ had a live blog yet) and am happy to say that we're still here and going strong! So, tune in this week for some throwback djs and keep an ear out for announcements about this weekend's big bash at the Beachland Ballroom to celebrate this moment in history!

If you didn't yet catch the article in the Free Times on the station, check it out at http://www.freetimes.com/story/742.
