Following the Mountain Goats, we heard from Melbourne's The Lucksmiths.

After that message from the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op, we heard a heartbreaking tale of bicycle theft from the Decemberists...

Then, Ohio's own Guided by Voices woke us up to a new morning and Built to Spill kept the morning rip-roarin along before handing things over to Death Cab for Cutie.

Versus motored into the final ten minutes of the program and segued beautifully into a Modest Mouse masterpiece...

Stephen Malkmus gave props to his "Mama" and Bailter Space brought us to our goodbye address...

Closing with Wow & Flutter (?)

Hour Twooooo!

Lali Puna kicked off hour number two, followed by the Postal Service, Figurine, Stereolab, Joseph Nothing, and a very special request from Alex in Brooklyn, the Mountain Goats!

The Lucksmiths picked up the slack and were succeeeded by none other than Paul Hogan...

After the Dears and another spectacular PSA, we heard from On! Air! Library! with "Bread" off of their 2004 release (self-titled?).

Then, surely meeting the morning needs of long-time listener Dave, we had New Order, with "Dreams Never End" off of 1981's classic, Movement.

One of my faves, the Raveonettes, followed with "The Love Gang" off of Chain Gang of Love...

and we wrapped up the hour with Holly Go Lightly!

Woo hoo!

After Matt Pond, we heard from Creeper Lagoon, off of an Arena Rock Recordings compilation...

Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah followed with last year's hit album and then Clinic off of 2002's Walking With Thee.

The Dears made there way into yet another set list with "The Death of All the Romance" off of 2004's No Cities Left.

Stay tuned for more!

Good Morning Sweet Listeners!

How's about a nice slow start to this week's show? I'm feeling a little groggy, so we're going with a mellow first set, hoping to pick up the pace by half-nine...

Hope you've enjoyed Her Space Holiday, Sufjan Stevens (going out to Justin), the Weakerthans, and Jens Lekman as your respective 1-4.

We've got Matt Pond, PA coming up next, so stay tuned!
